Foundations of Graduate Writing
Seminar Only
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
In this foundational course, we will brush up on the nuts and bolts of graduate level writing and learn entirely new methods of argumentation and expression--including rhetoric strategies, organization methods, research skills, creative problem solving, and elegant language. This seminar will also examine how language and the act of using it can transform lives. The translation of human experience and knowledge via the written word is as spiritual an act as it is a secular one. No matter what level of writer you are, you will come away from this active and inter-active seminar with greater skills and purpose as a writer.
All Day Intensive:
*Body Prayer: 8:30 am - 9:15 am
*Seminar: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

*Art as Meditation: 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Write your Life, Right your Path with Andrew McFadyen-Ketchum In this meditation seminar, we will use language to explore the paths we have taken in our lives and the paths that lay before us. Writing from experience enables us to see and re-see the past, the present, the future, and, ultimately, ourselves. This seminar will help us focus on what matters most and will provide a vision for how to best move forward in our spiritual and earthly lives.
